The Llanthony & District Garden Club was formed in 2003 and has been going from strength to strength ever since.
The club meets every second Monday of the month (during the winter months) at the Memorial Hall in Cwmyoy in the Llanthony Valley starting at 8.00pm.
Thanks to some remarkably well connected members, the list of speakers is quite astounding for a club in the wilds of the Black Mountains. This season we have welcomed garden photographer Éva Németh, plant specialist Derry Watkins and Fergus Garrett from Great Dixter, among others. See the current programme (and some earlier ones) here.
In summer time visits to gardens of interest – far and wide – are arranged. Here’s a look at some of the recent visits.
Annual membership is £20
Guests £7 (£15 for the annual celebrity lecture). Guests are always welcome.
